Seleccion Nacional de Tango (Argentina's National Tango Team) Performance

Argentina's world renowned National Tango Team will be performing in New York for one night only, Tuesday April 1, 2014, here at Tango House.

The National Tango Team was created in 2005 and has performed throughout Latin America, Europe, Asia, and Africa. In 2006, their live album was awarded the Carlos Gardel Prize for Best Orchestral Album, one of the highest honors in the Argentine recording industry. In 2010, the Team was one of only 2 ensembles, out of 200, selected to perform and represent their country at China's Shanghai Expo. Two years later they performed at South Korea's Yeosu Expo.
The National Tango Team will be coming to Tango House's intimate stage with only the best of the best. Instruments featured include piano, bandoneon, bass, and violin. Accompanying the musicians will be tango vocal pioneer Guillermo Fernandez, one the biggest starts on Buenos Aires' billboard charts, as well as the 2004 World Tango champions Ivan Romero and Silvana Nunez. This will be a night to remember!

Tickets are $60 per person. We also have limited VIP booth seating for $70 per person.  Doors open at 7pm, the show begins at 8:30pm. A full bar, including our selection of over 180 wines, will be available along with appetizers at Tango House.
